About Us
The Hersey Family
We are Jeremiah and Christy Hersey, founders of our non-profit, Fostering Faith Ministries. We are a Christ centered, blended family, and parents to 5 amazing boys. In February 2024 our family decided to jump into this amazing journey of being a foster family. While it isn't always the easiest journey, we are blessed to have the opportunity to care for so many wonderful kids. We are currently licensed to foster up to 6 children in our personal home. We have learned that there are so many more kids that need help and we felt God led us to do more. This life changing chapter of our life, led us to start Fostering Faith Ministries. Our goal is to be able to provide resources to other foster families and continue to foster young children in our own home. We envision building a group home for kids in foster care and an independent living facility for those kids that have aged out of the system, empowering them to step confidently into adulthood. Our prayer is that God will use us to pour His love and purpose into their lives, helping them see their true worth and unlimited potential.
